Carolina Muñoz is a Miami-based graphic designer, photographer, and photo retoucher. Her keen attention to the nuances of light, composition, color, and aesthetics informs her design and photographic approach. She also meets strategic marketing goals using research, critical analysis, ideation, and expedited deliveries.
Carolina's background in graphic design prompts her to constantly pay attention to color, form, and composition in her daily surroundings, which in turn inspires her to produce persuasive visual communications. She is equally comfortable photographing people -- and establishing an easy rapport with them -- and setting up careful lighting and art direction for food, still life, and product photography. The diversity in her design and photographic styles leads to a range of results that are specifically adapted to meet marketing campaign concepts while adhering to branding guidelines. Her childhood years in London and The Hague, along with her travels to Europe and Latin America, and her diverse work experience as a designer and photographer in New York, Caracas, Bogotá, and Miami, have endowed Carolina with a multicultural and bilingual sensibility that she employs in every creative project. Since 2011, Carolina’s passion for photography and color has extended into teaching, with experience gained in both Caracas and Miami. She has taught at various photography schools such as CIEF, MIP, and La ONG, as well as through asynchronous online courses and personalized tutoring.
